Ellen Schwarz has been studying at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe since 2017. During her studies, she discovered the technique of offset printing and began to experiment with it, pushing the printing process to its limits. This has resulted in works that differ from conventional prints and can be described more as paintings. In her pictures, chance and concept go hand in hand, creating a new kind of lightness and depth.
