Acryl auf Leinwand
Technik:

BIOGRAPHY
Brigitte Puschmann, born in Munich.
With a foundation in interior design from Rhodec International Art College in the UK and having attended the International Summer Academy in Salzburg on several occasions, she developed her own artistic style. Since 2024, she has focused entirely on her artistic career. In 2026, she successfully completed her studies in Drawing & Painting in Prof. Markus Lüpertz’s AdBK-K class. Since 2026, she has been a master student under Markus Lüpertz. Serial pictorial systems, spatial installations, interactive acrylic tiles and her multi-layered pictorial panels form part of her ongoing artistic exploration of the theme of change/transformation, as well as the effect of colours and forms within the tension between attraction and repulsion (‘push/pull effect’).
She held her first major solo exhibition at the renowned Samuelis Baumgarte Gallery in Bielefeld. She has also taken part in numerous exhibitions at galleries, art associations and international art fairs.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Brigitte Puschmann: The Art of Transformation and Multifaceted
RealityMy path to art was anything but straightforward. It took many detours and learning processes before I could follow my true calling as an artist. Yet every step of this journey has taught me that life is far more than just black and white. It is a kaleidoscope of colours and shapes that is constantly changing and invites us to discover the beauty of transformation.
My art is a tribute to the complexity of life and the marvellous order that can be found even in chaos. Even in turbulent times, structures, lines and patterns repeatedly emerge to offer us a sense of direction. In my works, I use straight lines and both geometric and amorphous forms, combined with my personal colour palette, to reveal these hidden patterns. They are a visual diary of constant change and an expression of the deep interconnectedness that permeates everything in this world.
