Art with presence – large wall art
Large wall art truly exudes a powerful presence. It demands its rightful place and attention – ideal for creating a focal point in a room. Large wall art pieces create atmosphere and act like windows into other worlds. They provide a space to visualise emotion, movement and ideas. Whether vibrant with colour or minimalist – here, art becomes a statement. A large wall art piece is more than just decoration in your home, office or practice – it is an experience.
Large wall art – strikingly impressive
Large wall art is more than just decoration – it makes a statement. It lends every room a new dimension, bringing depth, expression and personality to the design. Whether in spacious living rooms, elegant offices, medical practices or galleries – large wall art catches the eye and immediately conveys a sense of exclusivity and class. XXL paintings are the perfect choice for art lovers who wish to invest beyond mere aesthetic value. Each of these works of art is handmade, rich in detail and carefully composed to captivate the viewer.
Large wall art offers the opportunity to tell stories. An imposing animal portrait, a dynamic cityscape or abstract XXL canvas paintings only reveal their full impact when displayed across an area of several square metres. The scale of XXL art allows artists to play with perspective, light and colour, so that even the smallest details become visible and spaces come to life. Anyone who has ever stood in front of a large mural understands the magic of this art form: The visual language has an immediate impact, the emotions are palpable, and the visual presence of large-scale artworks shapes the surroundings in an elegant, artistic way.
Presence through large formats – XXL paintings
: Choosing a large mural requires careful consideration. Large-format paintings are not only eye-catching but also influence the atmosphere of an entire room. The choice of colour, motif and style should be carefully coordinated with the existing décor. It is often effective for the XXL painting to incorporate a colour from the interior – this creates harmony. On the other hand, high-contrast colour schemes can create exciting accents and lend the room a sense of dynamism. Large wall art also offers the chance to introduce a touch of the monumental into everyday life: XXL canvas paintings evoke a sense of calm, structure or inspiration, depending on the mood conveyed by the artwork.
Whether understated, minimalist works in oil or expressive, realistic depictions – large wall art covers all styles. Floral motifs, abstract compositions, depictions of people or animals are just a few of the options. Particularly popular are giant canvas paintings that stretch over several metres, allowing the viewer to immerse themselves in another world. These XXL wall art pieces are ideal for spacious rooms, where they not only fill the space but also lend it character.
Interior design with art – a large painting in
the
living room
A large-format painting is a central element of interior design. A large painting in the living room becomes the centrepiece of the room, inspiring conversation and bringing the décor together. In law firms or medical practices, a large wall painting conveys professionalism and a sense of style. Businesses rely on XXL paintings to imbue their lobbies, meeting rooms or corridors with an artistic flair that signals both prestige and creativity. Every large wall painting has its own unique character – ranging from subtle colour nuances to dramatic, expressive compositions.
When purchasing large wall paintings, it is worth opting for handcrafted originals. Not only are they one-of-a-kind pieces, but they are also investments in works of art that retain their impact for years to come. The size of XXL wall art allows artists to develop their concepts more freely, stage spaces and offer viewers an intense visual experience. Anyone who has ever stood in front of a large wall hanging knows the fascination that such a work exudes – it is an experience for the eyes and the mind.
The impact of a large wall hanging depends heavily on its placement. Walls behind sofas, beds or reception desks provide ideal surfaces. It is important that the artwork has sufficient space – walls that are too small make it appear cramped. At the same time, a high-contrast piece can really stand out against a neutral background. Lighting also plays a crucial role: daylight or targeted lighting can intensify colours and emphasise the texture of the artwork. The height at which the XXL artwork is hung also influences its impact: the ideal position is at eye level or slightly above, so that the piece gently draws the eye. Large wall art also benefits from an uncluttered setting – overloaded walls diminish its impact. Those who opt for abstract works or large-scale oil paintings can experiment playfully with shapes and lines; figurative paintings, on the other hand, need space to unfold their story. In this way, a large wall painting becomes the centrepiece of any room.

Kaan Ege Önal, born in 1996 in Kütahya, Turkey, grew up in an artistic family who introduced him to ceramics and porcelain painting at an early age. In his works, he explores the relationship between people and culture by collecting traditional materials from around the world and using them to create symbolic, figurative representations. In doing so, Önal combines cultural motifs with minimalist painting, thereby creating a language that touches the viewer gently and reveals the unifying elements of human identity. Each of his works is a poetic invitation to celebrate cultural diversity and to reflect on what we have in common.
Aileen Clausager, born in 1999 and an art student at the Ontario College of Art & Design, works at the intersection of figurative painting and abstraction. Her work centres on the human body, which, through bold colours and expressive forms, shifts between reality and dreams. Her series ‘Kopf-los’ visualises the wandering mind and invites the viewer to reflect on the balance between body and mind. Clausager’s works combine personal reflection with visual intensity and have already gained recognition throughout Europe and in international hotels.
Carmen Eichenberg, from Munich, is a student at the Academy of Fine Arts under Prof. Markus Lüpertz and lives in Riedenburg in the Altmühl Valley. Her works are characterised by imagination, complexity and a wide range of colours, which can evoke both emotion and subtlety. Inspired by nature, music, everyday experiences, as well as historical frescoes and architectural works, Eichenberg creates images that capture moments in life and evoke emotions. Her works combine spontaneous expressiveness with precise composition, thereby reflecting a multifaceted artistic universe.
