The print combines a photograph from the family archive, taken during a ‘corrida de toros’ in Pamplona in 1995, with an analogue photograph from last year, taken at the same location. The two images blend together in an artistic manner. This collage tells a profound story of courage, tradition and change, and invites the viewer to reflect on the connection between the past and the present. The superimposition of this historical moment with abstract forms from the more recent photograph lends the artwork an additional dimension.
