Lilian Hermann
I’m a young artist from Verl (North Rhine-Westphalia) and have been selling my artwork at the Student Art Market since 2020. My contemporary art pays homage to the strength of women. With my clear aesthetic approach, I delve into the depths of emotion and poetry. In a world often characterised by loud narratives, my artworks act as silent manifestos. Each painting tells a story in which the human spirit is captured in every brushstroke and every shade of colour.
Even whilst at school, I attended the Spektrum School of Aesthetic Arts in Bielefeld. There, alongside training in practical artistic activities (painting, drawing, composition), the focus was on actively cultivating an aesthetic appreciation of artworks. My approach to painting, in particular, has shaped me ever since.
In 2022, I completed my Master’s degree in teacher training at the University of Paderborn, specialising in Art and Mathematics. During my time at university, I attended many painting courses and discovered a passion for depicting human figures and underwater scenes. In particular, motifs of people floating or falling feature in many of my works.
