Morena Denigro
My name is Morena, I am 21 years old and I am originally from Luxembourg.
I have been studying Fine Art at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences in Freiburg for three years.
In my
latest works, I explore the fragmentation of the subjects in a still life and the role of perspective as an element within a non-existent pictorial space. Furthermore, elements of Pop Art and/or New Objectivity can be found in both the technique and the subject matter; packaging and gaming objects as a reflection of our consumer society, as well as the photorealistic depiction of the fragments. It is important to me to produce contemporary and socially critical art in order to maintain the dialogue between the individual and society.
