Description
This photo series captures the volcanic landscapes of Fuerteventura in a way that is both surreal and captivating. By using analog filters, I transformed familiar sights into distorted and abstract worlds that are both strange and beautiful. The resulting images play with color and form, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. From jagged volcanic rock to rolling hills, each photograph in the series reveals a new perspective on the island's terrain. Whether a person is familiar with the landscapes of Fuerteventura or seeing them for the first time, this photo series invites to explore a world of imaginative possibilities. Fine Art Print

Nina Louiza
My name is Nina Louiza; in 2024, I completed my diploma in graphic design at the Academy of Visual Arts, Leipzig. Working closely with the ‘Digital Materialities’ media art department, which explores the interplay between materiality and digitality, I developed a final project that weaves together web technology and code to reveal the interface between the analogue and the digital.
This tension characterises my entire artistic practice: my starting point is usually my own photographs, which I transform digitally to reveal new layers of imagery. At the same time, I experiment with glass and colour filters placed physically in front of the lens, which, although they appear like digital effects, are produced entirely analogue.
