Das Werk "1,46" Euro thematisiert die sich zunehmend wandelnden Umweltbedingungen unserer Erde. Das Klima verändert sich, Arten sterben und immer mehr Menschen leiden. "1,46 Euro" ist eine stumme Kritik an all jenen Prozessen, die der Mensch weiterhin bedenkenlos fördert und als Ergebnis die Welt zugunsten der Konsumwirtschaft in den Abgrund zieht.
Der Titel "1,46" Euro ist zudem ein humorvoller Bezug zum aktuellen Durchschnittspreis einer Eiskugel in Deutschland. Ein Fakt, der an vielen Orten oftmals für mehr Empörung sorgt als beispielsweise eine ausgestorbene Tierart oder die steigenden Temperaturen auf der Welt.
Bei dem Werk handelt es sich um eine digitale Malerei, gedruckt auf eine Alu Diabond Platte. Das Werk ist auf eine Anzahl von nur 3 Drucken limitiert und kommt mit einem Echtheitszertifikat. Ein Aufhängesystem für die Wand ist dabei beigefügt. (Das Werk wird ohne Rahmen geliefert)
Michelle Mall
Michelle Mall was born on 11 July 1997 in Stuttgart. She completed a teacher training degree in biology and art at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and the University of Hohenheim. She now works full-time as a teacher of this subject combination.
Her artistic work focuses on the study of nature, form and colour, as well as various contemporary themes. Her analogue acrylic paintings strike a balance between coarse and fine brushstrokes, whilst her digital paintings present surrealist social criticism in a ‘beautiful’ package. Digital works are also sold as art prints in limited editions.
Art and literature have always been closely linked for her. Texts – whether standing alone or accompanying her work – are an integral part of her practice as an artist. For the past two years, texts and independent publications have become an increasingly significant part of her body of work.
