This work is an abstract representation of a vase of flowers. The fabric used for the vase dates from the 1960s and is a gem from my grandmother’s collection; she was a passionate seamstress. The first step was to paint the canvas with acrylic paint, so that the fabric, once shaped, could then be attached to it. The painting is mounted on a stretcher frame and is supplied complete with the frame.
This piece really comes into its own, particularly in a vintage-style interior.
This piece is one of a kind and is looking forward to finding a loving home with you!
