The artwork is shipped stretched onto a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and a signature on the reverse.
“A Touch of Green” is part of the “Hand by Hand” series, in which realism and abstraction merge. Everyday objects are combined with human body parts, thus forming a new visual whole. “Hand by Hand” centres on a painted hand created by a real hand. This creates a direct connection between the artwork and the artist.
Here, the hand serves as a symbol of connection, touch and expression. As the series progresses, however, other body parts will also become part of this visual language.

. For the past four years, I have been working intensively on canvas, primarily exploring my own artistic field — without setting myself any limits. My work emerges from the process itself: I experiment, discard, make new discoveries and allow each stroke to lead me in a different direction.
I deliberately avoid committing to any one style. Instead, I open myself up to a broad spectrum of forms of expression, so diverse that a room full of my works might give the impression that several artists are exhibiting together.
Abstraction, distorted figuration, spontaneous breaks in composition, calm surfaces alongside impulsive brushstrokes — my practice moves freely and remains open to the unplanned.
Experimentation is my most important tool. In my works, there is therefore always something to discover, something that wasn’t there before and only revealed itself during the process.
