Description
This cup, stuck in a fence, was found in a small town in Mallorca where consumption and waste play a major role. Most of the people staying there return after a short time and do not give a second thought to what they leave behind or who has to deal with it. Everyday items that end up as waste or are used for only a short time find their own place and either remain there or are soon replaced.
Rebecca Häfner
Rebecca Häfner is studying photography and graphic design at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig.
In her photographic
work, she explores the mundane and the everyday, and is constantly on the lookout for the banal.
Colour, form, contrast, materiality and composition all play an important role in her work.
