Dieses Gemälde entstand 2025 in meinem Atelier in Hamburg. Es ist Teil einer Serie, die sich dem Thema Begegnung in einer subtilen Annäherung widmet.
Der subtile Farbklang ist schwer fotografisch einzufangen. Die Farben leuchten in echt noch stärker.
Dieses Kunstwerk wird in der SKM-Galerie ausgestellt und kann erst nach der Ausstellung versendet werden (Mitte August). Nach Absprache ist auch ein früherer Versand möglich.

My figurative works are characterised by a soft, clear colour palette and a subtle, almost dreamlike painting style. Through the subtle application of several layers of oil paint, the colours begin to vibrate within one another. I love mixing colours and take this part of the process just as seriously as the painting itself.
In my portrait work, I am inspired by the intimate lighting and the vulnerability of the compositions. The colours become a conduit through which I express all the emotions in the painting. The themes of transience, love, emotions and aesthetics have a strong influence on my creative process. I am also greatly influenced by literary sources in my work. Often, the process of creating a new painting is triggered by a poem, a text or a piece of music.
