Entstehungsjahr: 2018
In der Impressions-Serie habe ich mich für den ersten Eindruck interessiert. Ich sprach die Abgebildeten auf der Straße an, redete ein wenig mit ihnen, schoss einige Fotos. Die wahrgenommene Atmosphäre setzte ich anschließend in einer Technik mit Tusche und Aquarell um. Es entstanden etwa 25 Blätter, bei der jedes einzelne eine Geschichte zu erzählen hat. Anonymität, gepaart mit der Intimität des Augenblicks.

Since 2020, he has been studying Fine Art at the Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences in Andreas Orosz’s painting class.
Andrew’s artistic aim is to wrest a tangible form from the omnipresent, seemingly unapproachable and immortal virtual space. He translates digital themes and motifs onto canvas using analogue media such as oil, acrylic and spray paint. In this process, the tactile complexity of the paint application plays an important role, contrasting with the absolutely smooth appearance of the motif.
