In her paintings, she explores the self and her surroundings, bringing them to life in a striking and sometimes humorous way through the use of bold colours. In doing so, she pays particular attention to the seemingly small and mundane moments in life. It is a kind of diary that invites the viewer to identify with the figures and to perceive everyday life
in a new light.
