This one-of-a-kind piece was created amidst the Italian countryside. It depicts two towering trees, surrounded by lush vegetation, casting mighty shadows upon the ground. When I painted this scene on location, these very shadows proved a great help, as the heat of the Italian midsummer can sometimes be a little overwhelming for a German like me.
I hope this landscape painting will soon fill your walls with pure sunshine and vibrant colour!
