This work forms part of Marie Küthe’s body of work, which she created whilst travelling through the USA. Marie Küthe captured these impressions of the majestic natural landscape, American culture and the magical places she experienced during her stay as fleeting moments in these works, which offer a unique insight into her journey. As Marie Küthe was travelling with nothing but her rucksack, these colourful moments have been immortalised in acrylic paint on thick paper, and have now found their way to Germany. Marie is particularly inspired by capturing vibrant colours and the play of light whilst creating these paintings.
