Einmal zum Mitnehmen, bitte!
Ein jeder von uns hat diesen Satz schätzungsweise schon viele hundert Male in irgendeinem Lebensmittelgeschäft, Restaurant oder Cafe gesagt. Dabei ist uns eigentlich auch bewusst, dass die Plastikverpackung, die damit meist einher geht, spätestens in einigen Minuten sowieso wieder im Müll landet. Unser ökologischer Fußabdruck ist seit langer Zeit bedenklich - aber was solls! Diese eine Tüte macht sicher keinen Unterschied, oder?
Das Werk "Einmal zum Mitnehmen, bitte!" thematisiert auf ironische Weise unseren täglichen Umgang mit Plastikmüll, welcher sich leider allzu oft immer wieder vom Boden auflesen oder aus dem Meer fischen lässt. Die in der Tüte sitzende Meerjungfrau soll dabei humorvoll dazu anhalten, den Blick länger auf dem Werk verweilen zu lassen und den Betrachter zum Nachdenken anregen.
Es handelt sich bei dem Werk um eine digitale Malerei, welche in einer Auflage von insgesamt nur 10 Exemplaren auf hochwertiges Papier gedruckt wird. Jedes Werk kommt mit einem Echtheitszertifikat. (Bild wird ohne Rahmen geliefert)
Michelle Mall
Michelle Mall was born on 11 July 1997 in Stuttgart. She completed a teacher training degree in biology and art at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and the University of Hohenheim. She now works full-time as a teacher of this subject combination.
Her artistic work focuses on the study of nature, form and colour, as well as various contemporary themes. Her analogue acrylic paintings strike a balance between coarse and fine brushstrokes, whilst her digital paintings present surrealist social criticism in a ‘beautiful’ package. Digital works are also sold as art prints in limited editions.
Art and literature have always been closely linked for her. Texts – whether standing alone or accompanying her work – are an integral part of her practice as an artist. For the past two years, texts and independent publications have become an increasingly significant part of her body of work.
