Everyday Cups – The Dissolution of a Form -- Image 4 from the series, titled “Memory”
The series, comprising four acrylic paintings, is dedicated to a seemingly simple object – the cup. Whether for coffee, tea or hot chocolate, it is part of our daily rituals, a symbol of warmth, closeness and habit.
Using the dry brush technique, its familiar contours gradually dissolve – from clearly recognisable to almost completely abstract. What remains is an impression, a feeling, a trace.
‘Everyday Cups – The Dissolution of a Form’ is a quiet, contemplative series about the transience of the moment, the poetry of the everyday – and the beauty of the intangible.

Merely hinted at, almost like a shadow from memory: this composition of brown and grey shades evokes warmth, comfort and moments gone by. The dry brushstrokes leave room for the imagination – a tribute to what remains, even as the form fades. An artistic eye-catcher for minimalist or emotive interior designs.

It has the power to make things visible that were previously unnoticed or lay hidden
I am constantly experimenting and enjoy working with different techniques and motifs. My works are created in oil, acrylic and watercolour, often built up in many layers, so that depth, luminosity and vibrant transitions emerge. In doing so, I deliberately experiment with various styles – from abstract landscapes to colour-rich, free compositions. I find inspiration, amongst other things, whilst travelling, in nature and in special moments of everyday life.
My paintings are one-of-a-kind pieces, both timeless and modern. They are aimed at art lovers, collectors and anyone who wishes to enhance their home or office with a special, colourful touch.

Degree in Painting and Drawing at the Kolbermoor Academy of Fine Arts under Heribert Heindl and Helmut Geier. (2020–2022)
