Art tells its own story,
one that invites us to reflect further and reinvent. I perceive it as something emerging between us.
From the invisible, it is shaped into something visible, and the cycle continues.
My current work is mainly characterised by the perception of different landscapes and the transience of a moment. In my painting, abstraction, deconstruction and composition flow into one another. What fascinates me about artistic practice is the diversity of possibilities within the material realm and the interplay with my personal jumble of perceptions. In this process, abstraction and figurative elements interact in a way that leaves the viewer enough space for their own imagination. For me, painting is a living and dynamic process in which events unfold, time passes and emotions play a part.
