Finding Gloss in the Dryness They Know (2026)

The duck as a spirit animal: it is made from a mixture of various types of fine concrete. It cannot swim and thus loses its function. In water, it would sink and drown.
These little ducks bear the memory of the wet layer on their surface. The wetness seems to be immortalised. One must always assume that their origin lies in the well where they once drowned.
They were cast from the same mould. As a result, the imperfections and cuts are identical on every little duck. The cuts in the silicone mould, which cannot fully contain the liquid concrete, form ever-larger cuts into the little duck, which it ultimately bears as extra weight.
There is as yet no limit to the number of ducklings produced, and each is engraved with a signature and number following purchase.
Delivery: Wrapped, padded, packed as a parcel, with signature and number engraved on the underside, including a printed and personalised certificate of authenticity
Terryfied Club
I specialise in installation-based, site-specific and narrative approaches. I see my practice as the transformation of emotion into object, where experience becomes structure; as a space for emotional and social negotiation in which repetition, nonsense, humour and gravity coexist; composed of fragments, glitches and childishly earnest distortions. These become installations comprising objects, images, images as objects, moving images and/or performative processes; characterised by concept and a breaking free from meaning. A focus on process and the invisible strength born of fragility form the core of my work.
Recently, alongside my larger projects, I have been creating repetitive miniatures which can stand on their own even as individual pieces and could just as easily belong to you.
Don’t worry. Welcome. At the Terryfied Club, this attitude becomes an open invitation – a space for those who find themselves caught in the tensions of a self-image defined by insurmountable pressure to perform, utopian expectations, failing laughter and a smile quietly choking in their throat.
