Kristin Funken

My name is Kristin Funken and I’m studying sculpture and installation at the HBK Essen. I have a background in painting, but have been studying sculpture since my second semester, as I work across different media and feel at home in various fields. These include photography, performance art, sculptural works, spatial installations and, of course, painting. I am fascinated by colours, shapes, planes and the combination of different materials.
