Last year, I began to interpret my works based on structures created randomly on the canvas.
I treated the blue area as water striving towards the sky in impossible columnar structures.
It reminds me of humanity’s engagement with the fantastical, with dreaming and the pursuit of the impossible.

I find it fascinating to observe how one idea springs from the previous one, and I have since been working to create a breeding ground from which the new ideas of the future can sprout.
Even as a child, I became aware of the limits of my own perception. This gave rise to a fundamental need to get to know the world anew, time and again. This interest led me through a wide variety of disciplines: I studied philosophy, physics and computer science, completed an apprenticeship as a tailor, worked in theatre, and am now involved in educational support for people with disabilities.
I discovered painting relatively late, at the age of 28; yet even before I bought my first paintbrush, I recognised it as a logical consequence of my life up to that point and resolved to devote the rest of my life to it.
