Dieses Bild erzählt von dem, was nach einer schweren Zeit kommt.
Der ruhige, klare Streifen am unteren Rand wirkt wie eine Grenze – wie ein Abschnitt, durch den man hindurchgeht. Darüber explodiert das Bild förmlich in Farben, Bewegung und Leben. Es ist ein visuelles Aufbrechen von Freude, von Hoffnung, von etwas, das größer ist als das, was davor war.
Die vielen Farben stehen für eine Freude, die nicht klein oder vorsichtig ist, sondern überwältigend. Eine Freude, die so groß ist, dass wir sie vorher kaum begreifen können.
Das Werk erinnert daran: Das, was wir durchstehen mussten, ist nicht das Ende der Geschichte. Vor uns liegt etwas, das alles übersteigt – eine Freude, die größer ist als das Leid, das wir je erlebt haben.

I work intuitively – my paintings take shape in the moment, driven by my feelings. Colours, shapes and lines flow onto the canvas without any plan. I love the playful and the spontaneous. This often results in vibrant, colourful works that have a childlike quality – carefree, open and warm-hearted.
My art is meant to move people, but not overwhelm them. I want to bring a smile to the viewer’s face, a feeling of warmth and comfort. Perhaps to bring back a little lightness to an often noisy, complicated world.
As well as painting, I also work with analogue photography – a conscious focus on small, genuine moments. I capture simple, everyday situations that are usually overlooked. For me, art is a place where I am free – and that is exactly what I want to convey.
