It is the minimalist rendering of the silhouettes that lends this landscape its very special radiance – here, tranquillity, warmth and stillness are very much in evidence. The colours have been blended into one another using glazing techniques – in one or two places, a pencil stroke still shimmers through. Yet this makes the image’s message all the more powerful – everything rests, breathes and is allowed to be just as it is.

In this way, I enable my viewers to experience both the beauty and the need for protection of the chosen motif.
My aim is to encourage reflection and action, as well as to spark discussions about the fragility of our environment and our individual and global human responsibility.
