A golf course stretches out across a vast expanse of green that undulates like waves across the landscape. People in the distance and those nearby are separated from one another by the natural topography; the distances between them are constantly changing. Some bend down to take a shot, others stretch as they swing – their postures follow the contours of the terrain. From below, the players appear as though they are sinking into a green sea; from above, they seem light and isolated. The whole scene exudes a sense of both tranquillity and tension – space, landscape and bodies interweave to form a fluid image.
