A Tomb for a Friendship (2026): Mixed media
The installation consists of a wooden drawer with an integrated mirror and a selection of relics (see photo). Some relics have been given a brief contextual description, whilst others stand on their own. Much like the grave goods of Egyptian rulers, the relics symbolise fragments of a past friendship. Everyone is familiar with loss, and with the inevitable question of what should become of the relics. This work offers one possible answer to that question.

subjects are as diverse as life itself. From Surrealism and Romanticism to abstract paintings and figurative ceramics, I am constantly struck by new ideas that gradually take shape in reality.
