My fascination with vibrant colours and with the country of India come together artistically in this piece. The character, often called ‘Ökomann’ by children, is my own creation, developed from drawings in my sketchbook. My aim was to give this creature, which has been accompanying me throughout my creative career for some time now, a more prominent place on canvas.
The work is signed on the reverse. It is shipped stretched onto a stretcher frame and includes a certificate of authenticity.

Thanks to her keen enthusiasm for experimentation, each of her paintings is unique. Through art, Palina finds expression, fulfilment and the opportunity to communicate with those around her.

Led a watercolour workshop at a secondary school.
Various private exhibitions of her paintings.
Currently working on a book illustration for a foster family in collaboration with the Rhineland Education Office.
