‘Hiphop is from 2022’, measures 202 x 170 cm, is painted on canvas using acrylics, ink and oil pastels, and is framed. It was originally intended to be exhibited at an OpenMic session, hence the title.
The painting is part of the ‘fluid’ series and is characterised by impulsive, abstract painting. This non-representational work reflects a flow of emotions and the moment itself, which, as the title suggests, appears fluid rather than constant.
In the end, the painting did get to play a part in a musical breakthrough after all, serving as the cover art for the EP *Cycles* by the band LOKI.
The painting will be hand-signed, stretched onto a stretcher frame and shipped framed.
