Tammy Pletsch
: Tammy Pletsch is currently in her second semester of the Master of Education programme in Art at Alanus University and is a member of Johannes Brunner’s sculpture class. She previously completed a Bachelor’s degree in Art, Education and Therapy.
Her artistic focus is on ceramics, where she explores abstract forms and their spatial realisation. In addition, she works with etchings, which give expression to her more concrete visual ideas.
In her work, she explores both personal and universally human themes and moods. She is particularly interested in the connections between inner experience and outer form, as well as the ways in which individual and collective experiences can be expressed through artistic creation.
