This painting consists of six canvases measuring 60 × 80 cm, which together form a work measuring 120 × 240 cm.
I began working on several canvases simultaneously after visiting the ‘David Hockney 25’ exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in 2025.
During the painting process, I frequently rotate my canvases in all directions. The six individual elements also allowed me to rearrange them time and again and change their position. This way of working is an important part of my artistic process.
Shipping:
The work is shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and a signature on the reverse.

Charlotte GENSER
Art student at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris and the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst (HGB) in Leipzig, studying under Professor Kerstin Drechsel.
Born in Paris, she studies and works between the HGB in Leipzig and the ENSAD in Paris.
In 2022, I fell in love with Leipzig and decided to set up my studio there. Since then, I have been working, studying and exhibiting between Paris and Leipzig.
There are no rules in my paintings, only things I love and am interested in. It’s about the colours and the ideas I have and develop through the process.
PROCESS
I’m always working on something new. My main focus is always on the colours. I try to capture the atmosphere.
