Info: Die Höhen- und Breitenangaben des Bildes beziehen sich auf den Durchmesser: einmal in der Vertikalen, einmal in der Horizontalen. Es handelt sich um ein Gemälde aus der Reihe "Traumdarstellungen", das sich vor allem durch seine verschlungenen Pinselstriche auszeichnet, die wie Gewächse in die Höhe treiben. Die unübliche, ovale Form der Leinwand passt zu dem Thema: ein schier endloses Ineinander-wachsen-und-übergehen.
Leyla Jalili
Leyla Jalili is studying art at the University of Osnabrück. Her main area of work is oil and acrylic painting on large-format canvases. Stylistically, her delicate brushwork and focus on the interplay of light and shadow are particularly noteworthy. In her studio, the artist creates both naturalistic depictions and abstract works on canvas. She captures motifs for her paintings, as well as for her prints and drawings, through photographs and quick sketches that she takes whilst travelling or in her everyday life.
