My name is Wen Dong and I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in ‘Art and Cooperation’ at the Essen Academy of Fine Arts. Art is my life, and painting is also my way of getting to know the world and communicating with it. My work centres on music, and I use the medium of painting to discover the inner connection between music and painting. I study the compositional methods of classical music and the relationship between music and visual art. I have always sought to combine the two art forms of music and painting. I use various methods, materials and light in my work to express the melody and rhythm of music.
