Anna Taradina
Anna Taradina (born 1998 in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, Ukraine) is an artist who lives and works in Halle, Germany. In 2020, she graduated from the State Academy of Design and Art in Kharkiv with a degree in Visual Practices. Anna attended the School of Performance in Lviv, as well as the performative Laboratory of Undirected Actions in Kharkiv. Since 2022, she has been continuing her studies at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle in Carsten Födinger’s class ‘Sculpture: Materiality and Space’. Since 2023, she has been a scholarship holder of the Cusanuswerk Foundation.Â
From 2017 to 2021, she took part in the ‘Cover Space’ land art symposium and was nominated for the 2020 M17 Sculpture Prize. In her work, Anna engages with installation, performance, land art and drawing.
