Schneeleopard
Description
Material/Technique: Paper (heavyweight, approx. 150kg), oil
paint Year created: 2020
A ‘Zanzibar leopard’ modelled on ancient genetic specimens. Consisting of an authentic, antique leopard’s head, which most likely fell off an antique rug. The teeth are made of wood, as was quite common around 100 years ago. Due to my own artistic style, the form is rather ‘clumsy’, expansive and rendered in a slightly abstract manner. On the whole, an object suited to spacious, opulently decorated interiors. (A more detailed or elaborate description is available on request. Preferably verbally by telephone)
