Material: Earth pigments on canvas
The earth pigments used in this work were collected and processed in Portugal.
Following the traditional twelve-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac, the snake returns as a symbol of wisdom, intuition and transformation.
The painting, created using earth pigments, connects this ancient knowledge with nature. The organic hues symbolise the connection to the earth, to history and to the cycles of life. This reflects the significance of the snake, which constantly renews itself and adapts to its surroundings.
