Robert Kulet
I am a figurative artist, born in Kenya and based in Germany. My work bridges the visible and hidden aspects of emotions and perception, inviting viewers to explore their own feelings through interaction with the faces I depict.
I am fascinated by how we seek deeper connections in fleeting encounters. At first, we notice only surface details—eyes, expressions, or gestures. But with curiosity, we uncover subtleties that evoke empathy and understanding.
Using vibrant colours, striking objects and atmospheric tension, I aim to spark this curiosity, creating a personal connection between the subject, the artwork and the observer. My work invites viewers to reflect on the balance between revealing and concealing emotions, and the power of attentive observation.
