Yuliia Ukrainets
Her sources of inspiration are people and everyday objects, classical painting and Japanese woodblock prints. She most frequently works on portraits and abstract colour paintings; her subjects are often children, young adults or flowers – fleeting beauties that pass quickly. The transience of the moment – that which one enjoys most but often fails to notice – serves as the basis for the artist’s choice of themes for her works.
Yuliia Ukrainets lives and works in Hamburg as an illustrator and visual artist.
