-One-of-a-kind-
For my paintings, I use diluted – and therefore transparent – acrylic paints, which I apply to untreated cotton fabric. To do this, I pour the paints, using brushes and my hands.
TR 1 was part of the installation ‘Temporary Retreat’ in the meteorological tower of Marburg Castle Park for four weeks in 2026. The large-scale installation explored the relationship between the interior and exterior of the tower. The greenery of the park, as a man-made retreat, was brought into the interior of the tower, which in turn serves as a retreat from the park.
Every year, two students from the Master’s programme in Fine Art at the University of Marburg are selected for the exhibition “Storm in a Teacup #3”.

The work will be shipped stretched on a stretcher frame – including a certificate of authenticity and a signature on the reverse.

In my art, I explore the theme of presence in the sense of consciously perceived presence and immediacy. For me, my art is about paying attention to inner impulses and following my intuition. As my works are inspired by transience and the power of the moment, I often work in silence and see my artistic practice as a form of meditation. I aim to help viewers become more aware of themselves and the value of the moment in a hectic world, and to create an artistic space of possibility where one can pause for a moment and focus on the here and now.
