profileI have been painting for many years. After training as a graphic designer, I developed my artistic practice further through numerous painting courses and study visits to art academies in Germany and Austria.
A serious personal tragedy led to a three-year creative hiatus and a block on my painting. For the past two years, I have rediscovered painting – more intensely, more freely and more personally than ever before. I am currently in my second year of studying drawing and painting under Prof. Markus Lüpertz.
My work lies somewhere between abstraction and figuration. Shapes, colours and textures often emerge intuitively, opening up spaces for my own thoughts, memories and feelings. My paintings are intended to draw the eye into the distance, invite the viewer to pause and create space for dreaming.
At the heart of my art lies not a clear representation, but the atmosphere – a tension between the visible and the felt. Each work is an expression of a personal journey back to creativity, tranquillity and inner freedom.
