‘Maschina Athina’ documents the streets of Athens over a period of four months. The book centres on the cars parked there, focusing on the different neighbourhoods
and the city’s diverse society. In the book, the dilapidated cars are set against contrasting streetscapes, thereby highlighting the inequality in Greece, which seems only slowly to be recovering from the crisis. The process resulted in a book, as well as a collection of screen-printed prints and accompanying posters.
‘Taxi’ visualises the social injustices in Greece through the depiction of the taxi driver.
