About the series
This 8-part series is inspired by various photo shoots from recent years. Influences include the aesthetics of ‘Kitschy Couture’, pop culture icons and various approaches to drawing.
The works transform the familiar into a visual language of their own – it is not about reinvention, but about reinterpretation. Each figure retains something familiar, which is transformed into an expressive, independent form.

About me: My artistic journey has evolved from small drawings through abstract works on cotton cloths to strongly expressionist depictions of animals and fashion illustrations. Despite the seemingly aggressive nature of these motifs, it is always the draughtsman-like quality – the sketch, the quick stroke – that dominates. Colour becomes a filling element. Speed is of crucial importance in my work, as it not only shapes the process but is also reflected in the line itself.
My works are my pack and are always embedded in stories. The motifs have their roots in children’s books, drawings, films and magazines.
Born in Tübingen in 1998, studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe
(Bachelor of Fine Arts) (Master of Education); studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna;
Completed my studies in 2025 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe under Tatjana Doll.
