Tamara Siebert
ABOUT HER ARTISTIC PRACTICE
Tamara Siebert infuses her art with a deep awareness of her surroundings. Her works emerge from a mindset of mindfulness: she observes, listens and translates what she sees into images that go far beyond mere representation. In doing so, she has a knack for making visible moods that often elude the fleeting glance.
A central concern of the artist is to highlight the fragility and beauty of nature. Her images serve as a reminder of how closely humans and the environment are interconnected. In doing so, Siebert creates not only aesthetic impressions but also spaces for thought – quiet invitations to reflect on one’s own place within the fabric of nature.
Her artistic journey is characterised by curiosity and constant development. By taking part in Professor Markus Lüpertz’s masterclass in 2025, she is deepening her artistic style whilst simultaneously opening up new perspectives. For her, this process is not merely about learning technical skills, but also a quest for clarity regarding her own artistic stance.
The resonance of her paintings is evident above all in the effect they have on the viewer: Many describe the feeling of becoming an immediate part of a landscape or, for a moment, stepping into a quiet, timeless world. The power of Tamara Siebert’s painting lies precisely in the fact that it does not make a loud statement, but rather has a quiet and persistent effect.

MY STATEMENT
For me, art is not a choice, but an inner necessity. Painting is my language for giving form to what I see and feel – a need that
is a constant companion.
My works are an ode to the beauty of the fleeting moment. I search in nature and in everyday life for those brief yet powerful impressions that connect us to our primal vitality. I try to capture these moments in order to preserve them for the viewer.
I find my inspiration in the landscape of the Hohenlohe Plain, whilst travelling or in moments of stillness, but also in music, philosophical reflections and personal experiences. Using oil, watercolour and the experimental print technique of monotype, I translate these impulses into images that not only depict beauty, but are also intended to awaken an awareness of the fragile balance within and around us.
My paintings are an invitation to find peace, to draw new strength and to reconnect with what sustains us as human beings.
