Maria Krause

I have been studying illustration at HAW Hamburg in Christian Hahn’s painting class since 2023.

In my work, I explore the effect of form, colour and light. Soft, organic forms are juxtaposed with clear compositions and a minimalist visual language. Cubism and Purism influence my work through their focus on clear structures and ordered forms. Colour combinations and precisely placed forms play a central role in this.
