Erich Reich is the founder of the Student Art Market – the largest platform for young art in the German-speaking world. With over 350 active art students, more than 10,000 artworks and a steadily growing network of universities, collectors and galleries, he has brought about lasting change to the art market for emerging talent.
His mission: to make art visible before it hangs in museums.
His background: the son of a family of artists, originally at home in competitive sport, now an expert in university art, market analysis and nurturing young careers.
In 2024, Erich opened his own gallery in Leipzig with over 200 m² of exhibition space – to finally make art an experience that can be enjoyed in a physical space.
Erich advises collectors on entering the art market, curates exhibitions and brings tomorrow’s most exciting talents to the fore – personally, independently and with a keen eye for quality.
