This painting was an attempt to musicize the form of emotions too long locked away. The result was a scripture of lines colliding to form a world of its own. "blue mendings," an ocean's cleansing breaths.

Jessica Mellage

Jessica Mellage (born 1995) is an artist from Honduras who lives in Germany. She is studying painting and graphic design at Burg Giebichenstein University of the Arts and works as a freelancer in the fields of photography, painting, ceramics and self-published books. Her artistic practice explores rhythm and tempo as sensory gateways to the world, moving between material, memory and movement.
