This painting was an attempt to set to music the form of emotions that had been locked away for too long. The result was a script of lines colliding to form a world of its own. “blue mendings”, the cleansing breaths of the ocean.
Jessica Mellage
Jessica Mellage (born 1995) is an artist from Honduras who lives in Germany. She is studying painting and graphic design at Burg Giebichenstein University of the Arts and works as a freelancer in the fields of photography, painting, ceramics and self-published books. Her artistic practice explores rhythm and tempo as sensory gateways to the world, moving between material, memory and movement.
