This painting, from Rabea Dolle’s so-called ‘calendar picture’ series, explores the delicate interface between humans and other living beings. In this instance, it depicts human interaction with a defenceless fawn. In a peaceful manner, it raises the question – in the broadest sense – of how we wish to treat other living beings.
