Gertrud Feuerstein

My name is Gertrud Feuerstein. I am 50 years old, married, a mother of two grown-up children, a midwife, and I am currently studying drawing and painting at the AdBK in Kolbermoor under Siegfried Anzinger.

I live and work in the Allgäu.

Painting and drawing have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, as my mother has also always painted.
My subjects are drawn from my immediate surroundings. Through my paintings, I aim to capture what I have experienced and observed in my own visual language, and in doing so, to move other people as well.

I often paint using pigments I have mixed myself, sourced from Dr Krämer, who has his paint mill very close to where we live.

I have already had the opportunity to exhibit my paintings at exhibitions in my local area.

I use a variety of techniques, including acrylic, egg tempera, oil, ink and drawing.
