. Alongside emotional and expressive movements that generate a sense of flow, physical exertion and individuality during creative activity, an appreciation of materials plays a significant role.
Various materials, everyday objects and found objects serve as an extension of classical painting. The picture surfaces partially dissolve and move away from the traditionally used canvas. Objects that appear worthless are valued, examined and repurposed by the artist. The new context and the shift in values create an unsettling atmosphere.
