Kira Frankenberg

Kira Frankenberg is studying for a Master’s degree in Art at the University of Osnabrück under Prof. Dr Rohrmann and Prof. Sigrun Jakubaschke-Ehlers.

“In my art, I explore the expression of colour. My sources of inspiration include both colour combinations I encounter in everyday life and impressions of the landscape. I try to capture these impressions on canvas and use colour as a language to convey a mood or a feeling. This results in a variety of works that are not limited to a specific medium or technique, but freely draw on various means of expression. I am currently working on large-scale pieces, in which the mood created by the colours fills the entire space and allows me to engage with the canvas even more expressively.”
