Magnus Tiede

At the heart of Magnus Tiede’s work lies the concept of sampling.

Elements from various art and design movements are combined – popular culture

is juxtaposed with high culture. One element serves as a starting point

for the next, allowing an image to take shape spontaneously. In this way

he achieves

a dynamic, postmodern composition that serves as the common thread running through his work.

Magnus Tiede has been studying in Christian Hahn an

der Haw

’s painting class

in Hamburg

since 2024
